Mossley Community Centre excels in supporting our community. Whether it’s offering a warm space for conversation or organizing large-scale events, they consistently make a positive impact, and we try to help all the fabulous volunteers as much as we can.
In Easter 2024, we organized a big Easter Egg Hunt across Mossley, hiding plastic eggs all around the town. The children could bring the eggs they found to our office and trade them for delicious Easter treats. Additionally, we held an Easter Colouring competition where primary school children had the chance to win exciting prizes.
Remembrance Day Competition - We organised a contest among all the primary schools in Mossley, Carrbrook, and Millbrook, inviting students to create artwork in honour of Remembrance Day. The schools with the best designs were awarded a cash prize.
Mossley Hollins High School Year 10 Leadership and Management Initiative

Students in Year 10 at Mossley Hollins High School, engaged in a Leadership and Management program, are undertaking a project aimed at assembling gift packs for individuals experiencing homelessness who are moving into new residences. The students are seeking assistance in acquiring and funding the items needed for these gift packs.

We thought is was a fantastic idea, so we decided to donate, which bought 10 gift packs for the Homeless
