Many people have remarked on the images below and asked why I have staff walking at the side of the hearse. The reason is simple: I genuinely believe that from the moment we receive that initial phone call until the day of the funeral, the person in my care deserves our utmost attention and compassion. This approach reflects my deep respect for that special person, which I prioritise at all times. Every independent funeral director has their unique practices, and this is one of my personal touches.
